@ricmoo I wonder if we could get a @bountycaster going to fill out the Ethers Cookbook for v6, in the spirit of solidity-by-example.org? EVM frontend acceleration via straightforward easy-to-copy examples of every common pattern, all updated for Ethers v6.

Absolutely! I’d love that! I’ll be putting some of the OP RPGF funding towards such things. I am also hoping to bring on a second person to help with Ethers too, that will help coordinate these things. Lez chat! ;)

Perhaps with @bountycaster or @poidh there would be a way to parallelize the authoring of these examples, and you or your helper or the community could judge which deserve a reward. I'll be first in line to copy-paste the eip712 signing example 😅 All the tutorials I've found so far use defunct _signTypedData.

Ditto! I’d love to see real-world examples using v6 against common EIPs in the cookbook for EIP-712. :)

I'd love that! If either of you want to set up the bounty I'm happy to help review to make sure it looks good and I'll pitch in funds myself. Otherwise also happy to set up the bounty

@ricmoo Would you care to define a list of 5-10 Cookbook ‘Request For Examples’? We can also crowdsource these on farcaster. Then @linda perhaps you could set up a bounty for each RFE and then we can let the crowd (+ ricmoo w/ his rpgf) allocate funds to naturally prioritize them? Does the current tech allow this?

Yep current tech allows this, crowdfund has to be in the same currency as original bounty (USDC or ETH). If it's a lot of demand we can change this Note all amounts crowdfunded are commits backed by user's reputation and don't go into a smart contract yet (same with all bounties but hasn't really been an issue so far)
