At my work, on Slack, people use 👆 

I think because it’s like a Reddit upvote or something. But I rarely see this elsewhere. So I’m curious what other people use. I absolutely agree with you. And it feels like an essential emoji need that isn’t being met lol

the finger in the air one always reads like “well actually” to me but i’m sure that’s not what people mean

Oooh you make a really great point, though! Because if it’s within a body of text, it totally does seem like “well actually”

I guess it only works as “ditto” if it’s a reaction placed on someone else’s message (like the way it is in slack or chats) 🤔
