amazing collection of contemporary art all from the broad family's own collection. all of the permanent collections are free for anyone to visit (some of them require time slots reservations*)

The Griffith Observatory and Park is worth a visit.

The Bradbury building is kinda cool (blade runner) and grand central market is across the street with amazing pupusas 

Jitlada is prob the best thai food I’ve ever had

Get excited to see an LA friend (“I’m also in LA!”), learn they’re 1.5 hours away though and realize you can’t see them
