No need to apologize, that thing is beast

if you’re fed up tho, that m4 has a beautiful display that’s 2x as bright as m1 (and roughly that much brighter than their desktop displays). the huge ram option makes local llm viable, which is very interesting for personal diary type applications, and anything where you don’t want to leak training data.

i think for local llm casuals like me the mac unified memory may be more useful than comparatively smaller vram on even high end gaming cards. beyond that i think cloud gpu makes more sense.

M4 pro definitely had me intrigued this year. Think the M5 pro will be the one that i finally upgrade to. The nano texture display looks really impressive
