On November 11, the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) opened in Baku, Azerbaijan. In collaboration with International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA), Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (FECO), etc., Sinopec is scheduled to co-organize on November 13 a side event titled "Hydrogen Powering Climate Action: Towards a Clean Energy Future with Net-Zero Emissions".
Meanwhile, the International Week for Science and Peace is scheduled in close proximity with COP29. Sinopec is actively pioneering the development of green hydrogen, geothermal and CCUS technologies. We remain committed to advancing international technological exchange and cooperation, so as to play a role in the global transition towards low-carbon energy and the mitigation of climate change.
