Where is your audience, what kind of distribution are you leveraging? What forms of content are you creating? What is the goal of your work and is it legible to a potential buyer?

hard pill to swallow but i'd have to say pretty accurate

textbook show of hubris on my part to simply launch a token and expect buy action to simply drive itself without much being communicated other than "here's $DIST"

and there's definitely a lot more to it than thinking, "well even scammers can do it" because even the scammers have to execute it well, and i've been stewing on that one all weekend... 😅

in any case, not hanging it up here, just going back to the drawing board on this

I also find that I often underestimate this aspect, sometimes to avoid raising false hopes, sometimes because it just doesn't occur to me.
