Question: For those who got scammed, do you think that younger adults (20-29) or older adults (70+) lost money due to scams more frequently?

Answer: According to the FTC Gov for 2023, of the people who reported their age, younger adults (20-29) reported losing money more often than older adults (70+). However, when older adults lost money, they lost the most.

Agreed 100%, this was also based on reported scams which likely account for less then 40% of all scams that actually happen

Two interpretations:
1. Young people have less money to lose
2. Young people are better at sizing their bets
