Are those goldenberries or kumquats? Goldenberries are so deceiving even I can’t tell the difference from that picture.

I think so 😬. They circle round. I thought kumquats were egg-shaped. But I'm definitely not an expert. My dad used to grow kumies to make marmalade 😊. But he's dead now 😇, so I can't ask 😏😁

Kumquats are more grape shaped. I haven’t seen a sphere/circle shaped kumquat but now wondering if there’s a variety that is. Confused because the skin in the pic looks like the right texture to be a quat, instead of the smoothness of a goldenberry. 

Calling them kumies/cummies seems so wrong. The Australian spelling is cumquat, but don’t tell anyone. 🤫

We can wonder together. As for the name! I take your word 👍

I’m torn as to which they are. Will need to hire a private investigator to get to the bottom of this. 🧐
