Most of my works are built around 3D particle simulations where the texture is defined by the trail of those particles. In this case, I wanted to push it further by creating several layers/simulations for the bodies, the outfits, and a few additional details. It’s challenging to manage, but I think the result is worth it. 'Phantom Zone' 🔊 Some shadows wanted to be more than they were.

Great piece, Yatima! There’s a very tense feeling that runs throughout it, as they all try to break free from the confines of their own bodies. It’s claustrophobic, yet in a strange way, that tension is comforting. That repetitive movement evokes a familiar sensation. Very moving piece. 🙏🫂

Thank you for your comment, Lee. 🙏 I really appreciate knowing what my animations inspire, especially coming from someone I admire 🖤 . The idea in my head was to create a dance, but one that’s awkward and unnatural. Like someone who doesn’t want to dance but is forced to, like a puppet! 😅 100 $DEGEN
