I like a cast if it is Elightening, Educational or Entertaining (stolen from the BBC's original charter). I'll RC if I feel it should be more widely seen (ie boosted). Quote RT are either amplification or attack.

It seems there is (at least) one major difference between Twitter RT vs Farcaster RC: RT provides the ability to add commentary. (Similar mechanism on LinkedIn.) This has positive uses (e.g. add nuance / context or a personal CTA) and negative (e.g. mobilizing the mob).
