The new channel proposal enables channel legos

- Channel owners have the freedom to mix and match tools and settings

- Enables developers to build businesses at different parts of the channel stack, e.g. economic layer is now open season vs. current centralized channel pass model

i have a strong feeling that this unnecessarily overcomplicated the protocol and used-facing channel management

on the other hand, i'm on board with giving devs more options

still, something doesn't sit right with me here 🤔

That’s just what it always looks like when you’re building further down the stack. 🙃

But yes, let’s see how these features are used and adopted and iterate around the behaviours that emerge.
