@jarmen was the first to point out that it's all just stage show. We are just being spoon fed an outcome, and they were never going to deviate away from it regardless of the pushback.

They’ll sidestep the rules, putting on a show like they care about law and order, but deep down, it’s all about grabbing power. Then they’ll just shrug off their little resource grab, acting like nothing’s wrong—waiting for us to go along with it and pretend we didn’t notice. 🤷🏻‍♂️

They claim that by putting us under the corporate structure of America, they aim to legitimize and promote legal compliance in their program.

Meanwhile, they are siphoning DAO resources without permission to push their own agenda forward. What they’ve done in many places resembles embezzlement, and in web3, we call it a rug pull.

I think the DUNA law also recognizes smart contracts as having the same authority as traditional organizational articles. Does that mean any changes or pivots outside of these contracts would need formal amendments since they're treated like binding agreements governing the organization? @wylin

I think the verbs struggle with what they're meant to be building, which is on them imo - they should have some better process in place... The move to duna definitely sad for the dao but makes sense from a wanting to be a global brand perspective... Caymans foundation sus and basically a totally separate entity to the dao, as we've learned with their 0 comms..... Like others have said, regulators will decide what entity you are if you don't decide yourself. Atm we aren't compliant with fatf guidelines etc and likely leads to death of nouns imo.
