Farcaster

Now that you need to send a real transaction to onboard to Farcaster, is there a good way to sponsor someone's onboarding costs? I'd like to be able to do that for the people I invite especially if they aren't too deep into crypto.

We're doing this with Warpcast invitations — if we give you an invite and you invite someone, the onboarding flow is sponsored by Warpcast.

Also the protocol allows you to pay for a storage slot for any FID.

Oh that's great. Once we go permissionless it would be awesome for users to be able to make sponsored invites.

This should be easy - you can sponsor anyone’s storage and fid costs, just need an offchain siganture from their address to prevent griefing

We will continue with Warpcast but agree would be nice pattern for the protocol / ecosystem
