@noahwbragg Any discussion anywhere re: cost / benefit analysis of lumber mills / farming vs cutting / gathering? I like the flexibility of lumber mills vs 5 hours of cutting but don't actually know the EV of either approach

tl;dr no BUT I have been upping & reducing my lumber mill this week as necessary compared to leaving it static when it first debuted - as a result i'm near the top of the weekly battle...took me months to change my approach

I don’t see a clear benefit of maxing both lumber and farms. It would take a huge amount of resources to keep both at max. Food is also imo relatively easier to come by. I’m not building farms atm

Lumber camps are way stronger than chopping. E.g at 732 villagers. You will chop an average 164 every 6 hours vs 183 in camps guaranteed. Not looked at farms though

You can now send your villagers farming! 👨‍🌾

This allows you to automate gathering food.
A farm works very similar to Lumber Camps.
