village owners, You have been competing in a weekly battle with your neighbors unawares over the last week! It started last Friday and ends tomorrow. The village in your neighborhood that gains the most villagers compared to what they started with wins! And you'll now see a new updated ui showing each villages gain in the week. This week the winner will only get a bonus of 10 🏆 for testing purposes but going forward all winners will split 25% of the rewards for the following week! Will be adding more ui in the coming days to visually show what's happening in the weekly battles. Neighborhoods are still composed of 10 villages but you may see less if a village has been razed. Neighborhoods will update weekly at the start of each weekly battle based on your # of villagers. May the best village win!

So is it the highest % gain or the raw gain?

highest % gain so that it's fair across different village sizes.

what's a good way to show this in the ui? Going to have a "how to"/ weekly battles page but would be nice if this percentage made more sense at a glance.

Labelling data in a non ugly way can be difficult. It’s also slightly confusing to have the wood and meat with emojis then a number, then a random percentage and the shield. This is definitely the type of thing that leads to bikeshedding. But my gut feeling would be to instead have like a neighborhood rank, with the percentage as a tooltip or similar. This way you could immediately see who is winning within your neighbourhood. Instead of having to look at everyone’s % But I have given this exactly 30 seconds thought

Well your order is based on your rank as well. I could see it being a tooltip or something. Agree that it's confusing being next to the food and wood. really it should be next to villager count because that is what the percentage is based on.

Sorry. I wasn’t clear. I mean there are in theory 2 seperate ranks. The neighbourhood is ordered based on your global rank, but you now also have a local rank based on % villagers gained.
