I see. Pretty cool stats for goldchain. 

For #2 people will still Have to get from L1 to get to L2 and then again ultimately to L3. Not sure if that makes the ux much better.

1) we want to completely control the UX. @goldchain has 1 sec blocks, sub cent fees and we can add in new functionality directly into the chain

2) on the L1 vs L2 settlement decision: onboarding from L1 will only increase in cost as the value of ETH goes up so making users pay a bunch to onboard is a bad experience
