Still on a road trip… another thought: what if we paused upfront funding for a year and only did retro with proof of work?

There would still be enough teams with plenty of runway and true fans & creators would still be sticking around, arguably grinding harder to make it work. And collaborating. 

Thought it could be an interesting season.

Really like this idea - up front funding should move to more permissionless systems like gardeners, and dao wide for props with more proof of work.
