When you’re stuck on a design problem or lack the energy you want to bring…

How do you get unstuck and re-inspired?

Here are a few strategies that work for me:

- You might be too close to the problem. Taking a step back and revisiting the problem statements often helps. Ask yourself: What are we trying to achieve? Why are we doing this? Who are we designing for?

- Going back to the drawing board and brainstorming with pen and paper is my go-to method. It’s simple but effective.

- Sometimes, taking a break is key. If I hit a wall and can’t make progress, I don’t force it. I usually sleep on it and find a solution quickly the next day.

- Reading up on studies and user research related to your design topic is crucial. It helps me generate fresh ideas and insights.
