This continues to be a tired argument. As you can see from polling most Dems are fine with how the nominee was chosen. Stop complaining and actually do something to put rank choice voting on your state ballot.

I think this is a red herring. There was a primary where Joe Biden was effectively the only candidateβ¦ how much choice did we have in that? None. Since then Biden underperformed in the debate. The people expressed their desire for him to step aside in poll after poll along with donors and party leaders. Biden eventually realized he is not in the position to continue to seek a new term and steeped aside for the good of the party and the nation. Harris, his VP, democratically elected to step in if neededβ¦ is doing just that. She has been endorsed by many democrats throughout the partyβ¦ our representatives in this representative democracy. Our delegates, regional representatives of the interests of the people, will now do their duty to represent those interests and confirm a nominee at the convention. Itβs not how weβve done it since before the primary era (since 1972) butβ¦ it seems clear the will of Democratic voters is well represented here.
