she audibly gasped, and then the conversation morphed into passive judgement about me using crypto, and disbelief that i have actually made real money for my art in the crypto space

the crypto stigma is so real. I have been berated at family gatherings by extended family for even considering it as a career

almost as if they believe I am some sort of scammer that impersonates people on the phone

not sure it will change anytime soon either
