my wife and I are planning our honeymoon and thinking of Indonesia this spring. Any recommendations? We’re definitely doing Bali and Komodo but there’s so many more islands to potentially explore.

For secluded pristine beaches & wild horses - Nihi Sumba. For diving/snorkel - Gili T In 🇮🇩, the fish schools & big turtles are out of this world. For whale shark diving - Malapascua & Oslob 🇵🇭 My bf would say El Nido for unreal island beauty & sunsets 🇵🇭 In Bali this is amazing: https://g.co

Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple in the world, and incredible ruins from 8th century https://i.imgur.com/Y7isuR0.jpg

Eishhhh idk.. Jogya was a miss for me tbh. I wanted to like it - so much culture! But left underwhelmed. I think these ruins are vastly overshadowed by the much more impressive, tomb raider scenes of Angkor Wat I’d only go if you have like 2ish extra days to burn, but wouldn’t prioritize.

I had a lovely weekend there. Did some great hikes around there and also found some great local eats and festivals
