i am so angry that KnownOrigin was sold to ebay and ebay killed it...  it was one of the best platforms out there... this makes me sad and angry...

This is what big corporate culture does… buy smaller entities that do what people like and shuts them down or changes them into something that turns customers into the product or takes away the best features because they are too expensive to maintain (from their PoV). It’s called the process of enshittification.

Ye I was on KO too. Actually the process of commercialization had started long before the eBay sale, so probably result would've been the same with it without eBay.
