I'm trying to decide whether it's worth going to DevCon. I've also been accepted to a hacker house that would cover accommodation and have some on-site activities. Challenges: - It's a difficult trip from Berlin to Bangkok: $1200 for a 13-hour flight, and only 2 weeks' notice. - In December, I plan to leave Berlin for a few months and travel through Asia anyway. - I’ve already been to hacker houses and wouldn’t say it was a life-changing experience. Also, almost every crypto conference has opportunities like that. Reasons to go: - I’ve found connecting with other builders far more valuable than just attending conferences and side events - Living together with builders could be even more valuable

Seems worth it if you had planned to go Asia anyways, and definitely agreed that working together with builders for some period of time yields much superior connection than just roaming conferences. If you spend enough time around in Asia, consider swinging by Saigon in Vietnam. We could organize a few things with local hackers. Ping me up if you do.

That would be great, but I'd have to go back after devcon and then back
