“Following is dead, you just need algos to spoon feed good content”… Is the strategy that’s killing Twitter right now. It used to be sticky because you couldn’t move your social graph, but then the feed deprioritized your connections until they had no value to anymore. Then people were free to up and leave. People use these apps for community, and yes they want good content, but they care _who_ it comes from. I appreciate the following feed we _just_ got, but it’s absurd how long we had to fight for it.
