I didn’t notice it until I was trying to understand what Cannelle was investigating…

Then I saw the smallest tiny baby toad I’ve ever witnessed in my life. (Or maybe a frog? Can anyone confirm?)

Cute but gross!

Strange feeling bc it borderlines on cute but at the same time amphibians give me strong visceral disgust. 

Then I noticed a bunch of them crawling on the sidewalk. 😬 If I hadn’t already dreaded the humidity and insects that have taken form with the unusually heavy rains this year here. 😫

Also, if you didn’t know, toads are poisonous to cats and dogs if licked or ingested! Cannelle had no interest in eating it, just wanted to smell it out of curiosity. But now you know, if you didn’t already, to be cautious of toads. 😖

Playing “The SIMS Pets” except this feels real. Cannelle is dog. Cruella is cat. I am mother.
