Living among emotionless people is tough, especially when you're close to them and your feelings go unanswered. Sometimes, the pain is deeper than words can express.

there is a psychologist in there who's trying to get people off their phones (officially he treats internet addiction) and his personal motivation as he shares was that as a father he felt like it's rly hard to keep his kids attention on him vs... other devices. So the emotionlessness comes more from being constantly overstimulated, having the whole spectrum of emotions available with just a few taps.
