I've seen this sentiment on the timeline for a few weeks now, and personally I too am always battling with not loosing my idealism. 

Especially when we seem to just run after faster, bigger better without stopping to ask: why? What future do we even want?

Its indeed quite sad, and I agree it's risky but in the end there's many people who probably feel this way and don't talk about it at all and the least we can do is make sure it's seen and heard.

In any case, thanks for writing another thoughtful piece. I appreciate the pointers to the tweets in which people are talking frankly about disillusionment with the web3 space and being honest that "integrity doesn't earn more." Relatable, and also quite sad.

It's risky to talk about this stuff openly, but there are extractive patterns operating in structural ways that many people don't see, so I appreciate their contributions to the public convo and your effort to surface them.
