I wonder this quite a bit as I write the 4th and 5th SEO article about the same topic for yet another client. 

Plus, the funny thing then is you end up competing with yourself. Can't help but see it as a waste of time. 

Would love to see some kind of writer collective.

*nod* I hear that. For years I subsidized my projects by writing for content farms. I knew I was capable of more, but it was the best option available at the time. 

I think web3 is our best hope, but this issue needs to be addressed deliberately.
