I don't really want to do competition. I leave that to people who enjoy such things. ^^ 

I just want to have fun playing these days, it's miserable enough being a laborer under crypto capitalism.

oh yeah for sure, I just like to not have some self-made pressure - because I know if I sign up for something, I'll create my own stress haha. 

I have a good balance with my private practice just for my personal enjoyment, and then the ensemble practice which forces me to keep up with my part. :)

Oh I hear you :-)  I never enjoyed competition much back in the day - (at my very junior level) - I was struck by the number of categories and the different formats - felt very egalitarian and open - very much the opposite of how I remembered competitions years ago ;-p
