Psychiatrists declare a person mentally ill if they react painfully and violently to minor troubles, minor irritations, and minor insults that wound their pride, while the same person may endure hardships and shocks that seem terrible to most people with remarkable resilience. Conversely, a person is considered healthy and normal when they can be stepped on as much as you like without even noticing it, when they bear the most disgusting music, the worst architecture, and the foulest air without complaint.
