(1/6) A few days ago, I announced I’d be sunsetting my Public Arts Flow due to budget constraints. I couldn’t promise a quality monthly gathering, and after multiple voting requests went unanswered, it seemed the community wasn’t on board.

(2/6) Then @rocketman asked what could be done to improve flows and how much money I needed. It made me reconsider whether it’s worth stopping completely if there’s still a way to sustain the project. I love bringing 3-meter noggles into public spaces. They instantly grab attention, invite hands-on collaboration, and celebrate the ephemeral nature of art: once the noggles are fully covered, we sand them down, repaint them white, and begin anew.

(4/6) Along the way, we document the process with photos, videos, and 3D modeling (shout-out to @exacto.eth and @elmess). We haven’t minted anything yet, but the option’s on the table for connecting IRL art with web3 in the future. https://warpcast.com/exacto.eth/0xca2cb2be

(5/6) Here’s an estimated monthly budget (USD) that covers the basics and leaves room for experimentation and proper recognition of everyone involved: • Transportation & logistics: $120 • Supplies & maintenance: $50 • Video editing: $100 • 3D modeling: $100 • Food & drinks: $50 Total: $420

(6/6) We could cut corners—cheaper markers, no pizza, fewer sessions—but that saps the project’s energy. This raw plan shows what we need to keep it thriving. If everyone agrees it’s feasible, we can revive Public Arts Flow. Otherwise, we let it rest as is. Let me know your thoughts!
