Hellebore (Helleborus exotica)💮 

Hellebore is a plant with large and beautiful flowers that can be white, pink or purple in color. They grow in the subtropical and temperate climates of Eurasia and North America. Hellebore is distinguished by its hardiness and can continue to bloom even in the cold winter months. 

There are from 15 to 22 species of hellebore in nature. In central Russia, black hellebore (Helleborus niger) is traditionally grown, which, despite its high resistance to low temperatures, is not always reliable. In other regions, such species and varieties as M. blushing (H. purpurascens), M. ornamental (H. torquatus), M. fragrant (H. odorus), M. oriental, or Caucasian (H. orientalis), as well as its subspecies are also grown — all of them were derived from the original species for their decorative qualities, recognized in the 18th century, after centuries of use in folk medicine.
