The greatest mystery in the world is how anyone can reach adult age and yet not understand how thermostats work. Like, we get it, Teresa, you’re cold. But turning off the AC entirely is not how any of this works

its a never ending war with my collegues about this.. i cant understand how people can be so damn cold.. and they never understand that i cant come to the office in my underwear while they can easily dress a little bit more heavily goddamn it

What bothers me isn’t that people are hot or cold — it’s that they don’t simply adjust the thermostat slowly and in small increments (like, half a degree at a time) until they’re comfortable. Instead, they either yank it to some unreasonable extreme temperature, or shut it down completely, leading to everybody being uncomfortable and fighting over the settings. It’s pure Moloch in action
