Every season where I get compulsively obsessed with my current project it begins to wind down towards completion and I step back. My desk is covered in stuff, bills unpaid, family obligations neglected. I would like to be a more consistent person in the future, but for now this cycle of feverish activity and and then cleaning and emptying is its own kind of satisfaction when I can appreciate the work.
