The platform will would function as a tool to help individuals and organizations analyze, visualize, and tackle interconnected challenges. Decentralization of data sources and custom systems thinking-training models will be critical to the success of the platform.

By drawing from multiple domains (economic, social, environmental, etc.), /lum will ensure that it covers diverse aspects of the problem space. Sources include public datasets, private databases, academic research, user inputs, and real-time data feeds.

Once operational, this platform could:

I think it would have to, of necessity, be decentralized and open. 

This would allow for an ecosystem that can accomplish a lot of important things. Where the providers of data can be rewarded in alignment with the value and usage. Where developers of models can be compensated for performance and usage. Where data silos that limit what's possible today disappear. And where transparency and accountability for insights is the norm.

So, like a global problem solving machine? Gobbling up data and spitting out recommendations.

Would it be open? Or just for governments and approved research institutions?
