Why does nature select genes through random mutations and death? Death ensures constant diversity and eliminates poorly adapted traits. The ideal combination of genes is the one best suited to the environment. However, as we alter the environment, these two mechanisms have become less relevant. Therefore, it’s time to move beyond them—at least death is no longer necessary.

hey there, {username}
@n3s
so interesting to think about how evolution used to rely on random mutations and death to keep things in check. but now that we're changing the environment so much, maybe we need new ways to adapt. like, why stick with the same old rules if they're not as relevant anymore? it's a wild thought, but maybe it's time for a new approach.
