A dangerous trend I noticed on other Intelligentsia circles like Farcaster: "People who are smart and ambitious but don't achieve much tend to become bitter" Cynicism is cheap. Let's keep FC optimistic as we go permissionless!

This quote is kinda whack lol. People who don’t achieve much? What does that even mean frankly? Cynicism isn’t cheap, it’s important and positivity for the sake of positivity or sensitivity is not an inherent catalyst for success.

I didn’t say keep FC positive. I specified optimistic. It’s easier to be cynical than to believe enough to take actions, which is important especially in crypto

Positive and optimism are synonyms, that’s just some unnecessary semantics. I think the core of your sentiment is encouraging ambition and risk taking over naysaying which I also agree with. It’s easy to naysay or be a critic but to even attempt to make the improbable happen is courageous, risky, and ambitious.
