I sympathize with people who think Farcaster is too insular & nerdy. That was my initial reaction too until I remembered every big tech movement starts with a small cult of nerds.

My issue is more it's so hard to get engagement. Feels like talking to the void... but it's probably my content 😩

At least here, the void sometimes replies back. 😉 You do have a power badge, so you must be doing something right! Replying and casting in relevant channels are the best way to get meaningful engagement here. & channels that are small and niche but active might actually offer better engagement than big channels!

appreciate it for real. will hunt for channels I'm keen on and get into some convos there (to be clear, engagement is isn't a metric I'm pursuing, it's just more fun when socials are reciprocal)
