No more “drop your art I’m tipping” bullshit. Did we learn nothing from Twitter? It’s just an engagement farm. Want to support artists? Awesome. Go into the many, many art curating channels, find art you like and tip the artists. Don’t make it about you and your engagement.

Yeah, this is why I don’t publicly announce that I tip participants when I host art share threads like WIP Wednesday. Ultimately I want to see and share other people’s WIPs and build the creative culture here. Plus I already know how to best juice engagement, and it’s with (whipsers) f r e e m i n t s.
