The amazing thing about this Tesla Master Plan presentation is most people who claim to be serious about climate change: a. couldn't give you the break down of overall fossil fuel use like this b. understand the tactical, practical changes you could make to change it Ironic, because so many of them "hate" Elon.

Me, a somewhat heterodox climate change person: that would be an easy choice. I want Elon to succeed with electrification and solar (per a zero-carbon or, better yet, a net carbon-negative future), but I wish he weren't such a narcissistic cringelord.

+1 And ideally we are able to fund and support more entrepreneurs and organizations that can help build that future

Reasonable take. I do wonder if being a ‘narcissistic cringelord’ is a package deal

We need someone to succeed with electrification and solar. I can tolerate it being Musk and agree that he is a narcissistic cringe-lord. Eventually a more palatable alternative will emerge, I just hope to be alive to support it.

that's a reasonable take -- more people should consider that position! :)
