Alright I set out to explain photosynthesis in under 5 min, but failed horribly. Only got through half of it in the 5min limit for vids. Running an experiment to see if this kind of content is fun for you guys. Lmk what you think, and I'll release part 2 tomorrow.

Alright, so here is part 2&3. This is where the interesting stuff is. I go into the fundamental flaw in photosynthesis which causes issues as temperatures rise. Maybe tomorrow I will talk about the research being done to fix this issue :)

@pmarca @dwr.eth In my opinion, fixing the flaw in photosynthesis should be a top priority for humanity. Can potentially give us 150% increase in crop yields. Investors should know about this. Where Marc and I went to school (UIUC) is actually where the best research happens.

I am, in fact! I got my Masters in Plant Biology at UIUC, went most of the way through a PhD, but decided to take another direction vs. pursuing an academic track.

I studied physics and math, but I had a friend who would get me tobacco leaves from some of the greenhouses haha. I really need to go back and visit, such good times
