I have a difficult time believing we haven’t already blown well past the 1.5°C global warming limit proposed by the IPCC. Winters where I live are drastically warmer than 40 years ago. Probably 4-5°C higher on average.

Yes, I understand that. Supposedly I live in a place 3-4F higher over the last 40 years. However, the weather we experience seems significantly higher on average.
