I have a difficult time believing we haven’t already blown well past the 1.5°C global warming limit proposed by the IPCC.
Winters where I live are drastically warmer than 40 years ago. Probably 4-5°C higher on average.

The +1.5°C anomaly threshold is a global mean; the Earth is very heterogenous, so local conditions may be warmer or cooler than the average trend.

Climate change is especially bad news for continental Europe, the Arctic, and the northeastern parts of North America, since they're seeing the most extreme warming trends.

Yes, I understand that. Supposedly I live in a place 3-4F higher over the last 40 years. However, the weather we experience seems significantly higher on average.
