The hype+FOMO wave has definitely hit FC hard in the past couple weeks, and it does sort of create that sense.

The only thing I can think of that would counteract the noise is some OG Farcaster participation threads—encouraging discussions, prompting people with open-ended questions, etc.

e.g., one of the getting-to-know-you questions I participated in when I first joined was, "What are your non-crypto interests?"

That could be a good one to get trending again!

lol, apologies for the multiple posts. FC must be under a lot of strain from the surge in use!
