Why haven't you added video to Warpcast?

- Smells like stated vs. revealed preference

- A lot of work to get right. Classic 95% straightforward to add and then the last 5% is another 90% work + ongoing maintenance.

- We use Imgur for image hosting today, which offloads major compliance burden to an at-scale company.

I think most people who want video support on Warpcast would be more than happy to see video embed from other sources, like YouTube, IPFS, Arweave, etc.

It’d be interesting to see what proportion of “wen video??” people mean “native video.” Probably a tiny proportion.

For one datum, I’m a “wen video??” person, but I’m a “hell no” on native video. Just let me embed the MP4 animations I’ve already minted.

I don’t want to duplicate my efforts in uploading a video file that’s already on the internet, sheeeesh.
