Recently got a ‘HigherDose’ PEMF, ionic, infrared mat to lay on for my back. Dozed off on it last night for longer than I’d expected and woke up this morning extremely sore all over. Like I’d run a Tough Mudder or completed an all day weightlifting session. Apparently this is common. Anyone have experience with this? I’ve had o1-pro with Deep Research for 3 days now. Some thoughts: My team frequently employs costly consultant specialists in certain fields to do deep dive research. These folks cost upwards of $2,000 per day. o1-pro deep research did in ~2 minutes what usually takes one of our consultants 1-3 days to complete. Huge value. We’re still wrestling with the implications. It’s more finicky in terms of prompting. One unclear statement can send it down the wrong path (which feels like a big waste with the limited credits for deep research). Affirmatively bad at creative writing and storytelling. You can feel the STEM vibes. Still working on techniques to extend the output to greater depth but also finding a workflow where o1-pro does the deep research and then 4o rewrites the narrative. That’s all I’ve got for now…

Love the ambition, but very curious to see if squarely taking aim at one of the most influential private consulting companies is a good idea or not... what do you think? Maybe a path to acquisition by McKinsey. Maybe they'll respect the big swing. Maybe they won't. (marketing from new YC company called Operand - https://www.tryoperand.com)
