Harvey building TaxAI is very interesting. They seem to be expanding to other services https://www.harvey.ai/blog/harvey-co-builds-custom-model-for-tax-with-pwc

I’ve heard mixed reviews of Harvey. Do you know anyone who has firsthand experience with their products? I’ve heard it’s more a show piece for law firms than it is a functionally useful tool. Also very curious what TaxAI can possibly do that Intuit wasn’t already doing, other than maybe a little more autopopulating.

A friend copied the model in Brazil and just raised from sequoia. The law firms love it and the growth is astounding. One of the fastest growing companies and the firms love it and want the product. For Harvey there was a 25k firm waitlist last year

Very interesting. Have you heard from your friend what the impact is on the law firms? I find the economic impacts of this stuff fascinating. How do law firms maintain profitability without artificially inflating the volume of legal work, radically increasing prices, or totally cutting staff?

My friend is serving companies that are not law firms and doing everything e2e so it’s much cheaper Not sure what law firms are doing here in the U.S.
