I absolutely detest AI music. People used to say "drum machines have no soul" but at least it was people programming the drums and tweaking the knobs. AI music truly has no soul. It will be the brutal public death of the soul that will trigger its beautiful public rebirth. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes.

Yes it's all over YouTube. I listen to a lot of sets and playlists of like ambient music and funk soul, etc and I'll inevitably run into some video with a nice graphic and all the songs are just names no artists. I've also started running into AI generated album covers where they must generating the ai audio based on some midi file and a prompt. It all has a vague sound to it and lacks any soul
