It looks like among /politics, /geopolitics, /uspolitics, etc. /cryptoleft is a close second most active political channel on Warpcast (just behind /politics) despite being a supposedly niche channel. Why is that? I'm active here because I can't stand Twitter anymore. Does anyone else have any other reason?

Twitter has become intolerable. I left a year and a half ago and went full-steam-ahead into Farcaster. The more time passes, the more it seems to be purely Elon simps and techno fascists. I only was there for the cryptoart community but that is so influencer driven now. I have little tolerance for the Farokhs etc.

Oh don't get me even started on those people. I have a good following on Twitter, but yea I just can't take it anymore. I was frustratedly tolerating it until last year but since the Palestinian genocide, it got even worse with bots and far-right.

especially frustrating for me as an artist. I made 100% of my income via twitter for several years. I had to completely switch to a new network, just because of the algorithm and my greater belief in this network... But it feels like a lot of wasted effort
