I couldnt say, I've only just started using it. But its clearly comparable!

I work in blender, but the image on the left was generated in stable diffusion using a wobbly calligraphy sculpt I did in blender. And the one on the right was generated from the stable diffusion image! Here's a 3 year old blender render of mine
