yeah i think it's the fc trilemma. must solve for 1. be something appealing/novel to normal ppl in a post-twitter/social world 2. abstract away and overcome the neg reputation of crypto 3. related to 1., not be thought of as just an alt-twitter, can't be the only value prop

Re 3, the more people are building things around the protocol, the more apparent it is becoming that there's more value prop with FC than there is with "X"

yes that's true, needs some kind of big breakout tho bc when i talk to ppl on the outside, they don't know about that stuff or at least don't see the benefit (ie. their pov: is it worth all the effort to rebuild when it requires zero efforts to keep things the same?)
